Smart plug with integrated real-time electricity consumption display.
Problem:
We don’t know how much power our home devices consume, even when in standby mode.
Solution:
A twin socket plug displaying the electrical consumption of connected devices in real-time. The Y-plug visualizes energy consumption even at low volumes and facilitates the users to be conscious about their habits. By switching off the power of connected devices when in standby mode, a lot of otherwise wasted energy is saved (vampire-energy prevention).
