Like all tables, camping tables have legs. Outdoor gear brand Ruck & River got rid of the “s” in “legs” for their unusual take on the camping table.
By reducing the legs to a single stake that you drive in the ground, they’ve eliminated the need to compensate for uneven terrain. (Your skill in setting the table, however, will depend on your ability to determine plumb.)
A fabric hammock beneath the worksurface serves as storage. The smaller of the two metal sheets (which I assume are aluminum, as the kit is billed as “lightweight”) hangs off of the side of the larger one via tabbed connectors that sit in slots. The serrations in the bottom are presumably for hanging implements. The precise functions of the strange series of cutouts in the top aren’t explained; perhaps it’s obvious to campers?
