Here’s a transparent Volkswagen ID.3:
Large sections of the car’s sheet metal and plastic bumpers were cut away and replaced by vacuum-formed transparent plastic, and the C-pillars have been adorned with circuit boards purely for aesthetics.
The vehicle is owned by Chinese auto influencer FastDog, who was reportedly inspired to customize it by the Nothing Phone.
There’s a build video you can watch here, but it’s in Chinese without subtitles, so I can’t glean any technical details.
