This Sputnik Chair, by French artist Harold Sangouard a/k/a Harow, has a wonderful gesture to it.
The seat is made of cast aluminum and the legs are steel, with the latter being offered in either raw or polished finishes. Pamono points out the difficulty of working with the disparate metals, calling the chair “a triumph of smelting:”
“The different melting points of the composite materials require highly technical brazing, chemically-set sandblasting, and a polyurethane process, guaranteeing a faithful reproduction of the shapes and an immaculate appearance of the pieces.”
