Architectual Digest features a sofa designed by Batman star Robert Pattinson. The furniture piece itself seems more simpatico with Pattinson’s work in Twilight, of which he stated to GQ in a video interview: “We had this strange tension where the studio was kind of a little bit scared to make things a little bit too emo and stuff, and I thought that was the only way to play it,”

AD writes “Robert Pattinson, by his own admission, is “quite romantic” when it comes to decor. So when he started thinking about his dream sofa, he found himself fantasizing about a piece of furniture without a lot of hard lines. Something people could embrace—which would embrace them right back.”

Silodrome unearths a table designed by Ringo Starr, a product of his collaboration with Robin Cruickshank, operating as ROR (Ringo or Robin) Ltd., and a part of an upcoming auction by Bonhams.

Apparently this was no mere dalliance for the musician; as Silodrome writes, “Ringo took to industrial design like a fish to water, he created countless pieces,” even appearing on the BBC to discuss his creations. In that interview Starr tells of the difficulty sourcing the Rolls Royce radiators that make up the ends of the table.
